Holiday Call In Guidelines • There should be a holiday call in list in the Call In Book. • There is a period of time that we may not be calling people in, called the “No Call In Zone”. What is a “No Call In Zone”? It is our attempt to allow families to be together at critical times such as opening presents, attending family gatherings, sitting down at family dinners, etc. This may delay response to problems. • When is the “No Call In Zone” timeslot? It will be from Friday 12/23/11 at noon through Monday 12/26/11 at 0800. There is not a “No Call In Zone” period for New Years. • What does the “No Call In Zone” really mean? If we have machine problems that cannot be resolved by the Operating Crew and need to call someone in, you can first consult Dan. We will talk with the Operations Coordinator and work out a plan. Here are some of the possible results of that conversation; We might contact an expert or two and ask for guidance over the phone. We may contact a Department Head to let them know their system/machine is down. We may contact experts on the chance they may want to come in or to inform them of the problem and expect them to come in at the end of the “No Call In Zone”. • The expert may choose to come in during a “No Call In Zone” of their own accord, but are not expected to come in. • Special Exceptions: In an emergency such as one that endangers personnel or equipment, we would expect people to respond if possible. Some situations might be injury, fire, massive water leaks, site wide power outage, etc…
