Cub Scout Day Camp offers boys a chance for advancements, friendship & fun! • Camp is a week long program • Tuesday July 8th - Friday July 11th / Game Farm Wilderness Park • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday / 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday This Year’s Theme is “Cubs Around the World”

Pack CoordinatorsThe most important position at Day Camp Job Description • Promote Day Camp in their Pack Answer questions from interested parents • Contact point for Pack and Day Camp Staff • Registrar: Collect Pack Applications and Rosters Complete all Applications on-line Turn in monies & health forms by deadline • Scheduler of Pack Adult Volunteers Ensure that the Pack meets the Camp Volunteer Quotas Check out the Pack Coordinator Pages on the Website for help!!

Day Camp Promotion Get the WORD OUT about Day Camp! • Hold a Kick off Meeting Invite all scout parents • Promote in Pack Newsletter or website • Posters & Flyers • Invite Day Camp Staff to attend Pack or parent meeting • Direct Parents to the Day Camp Web Site http://foothillscubdaycamp.webs.com

Pack Staffing Requirements 1 Cub = 2 Adult Volunteer days • Cubs • 1 Walking Leader : 4 Cubs • 1 Station Leader : 8 Cubs • WEBELOS • 1 Walking Leader : 4 WEBELOS • 1 Station Leader : 8 WEBELOS We strive to match Every Parent with their Scout: PLEASE remind your parents this may not always be possible Station Leaders Walking Leaders

Pack Staffing Requirements 1 Cub = 2 Adult Volunteer days What is an Adult Volunteer? • Walking Leader (21+) • Track advancements • Supervise and provide discipline • Enforce the buddy system • Make sure everyone is accounted for throughout the day • Must be Youth Protection trained • Must attend Required Training • Station Leaders (21+) • Provide Leadership and Guidance at assigned Station • Communicate Station Activity to Walking leaders and Scouts • Must be Youth Protection trained • Must attend Required Training

Pack Staffing Requirements Camp Aide & Den Chief • Camp Aide (14-20)can fill ½ station staffing requirements • Assist Station Leaders • Can not be in charge of Youth • Must be Youth Protection trained • Must attend Required Training • Den Chief (11-13) Does not fulfill Adult Staffing requirements • Assists Walking Leaders with Positive behavior modeling • Can not be in charge of Youth • Must be registered with the BSA • Must be 1st class rank or higher • Must be Youth Protection trained • Must attend Required Training

July 7th Camp Review All Adult and Youth Leaders Must Attend - Required Please leave Cub Scouts and Siblings at home Location: Game Farm Wilderness Park Time: 7:00pmReview of Camp layout, Final Rules & RegulationsOpportunity to ask Camp Staff Final Questions Encouraged Volunteers to bring chair or blanket for seating!

Camp Arrival Schedule Leadership Must Check in at Headquarters Cub Scouts Proceed to Gathering Area • Station Leaders 8:00 am checked in and ready to go • Walking Leaders 8:30 am checked in and ready to go • Camp Aides & Den Chiefs 8:30 am checked in and ready to go • Cub Scouts 8:50 am checked in and ready to go - Den Assignments will be available via website a few days before camp The Adventure begins at 9:00am

Tiger Programs • Tigers are Welcome to attend Day Camp all week with an adult partner • Tiger Adult Partner does not count towards other leadership requirements Twilight Option: All Day Option: • Tiger & Adult partner • Wednesday July 10th • 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm • Bring a sack dinner for both • A fun filled evening for Tigers and Adult Partner

  23. WEBELOS Woods-Overnighter July 11-12, 2014 • Where: Auburn Wilderness Game Farm Park • Time:5:00 pm to Noon / Campfire at 8:00 pm • Fee:$10 per WEBELOS & Guardian (21 or Older). Each WEBELOS must have a parent or Guardian • Bring: Tent, Sleeping Bag, Personal Needs & Parent or Guardian. REGISTRATIONS DUE: Thursday - June 12, 2014

Kiddie Camp July 8 - 11, 2014 When:July 8 - 11, 2014 - 8:00 am – 4:15 pm Where: Auburn Wilderness Game Farm Park   Who:Children of Cub Scout Day Camp Staff Cost:$12.00 per child per day All children MUST be toilet trained - No exceptions!
