Knight of the Month. Requirement is 1 per Quarter. I believe it should be 1 per Month. Important to publically recognize the achievement of a Brother Knight with a certificate or plaque. Award creates enthusiasm. Knight of the Year.

  1. Knight of the Month • Requirement is 1 per Quarter. • I believe it should be 1 per Month. • Important to publically recognize the achievement of a Brother Knight with a certificate or plaque. • Award creates enthusiasm.

  2. Knight of the Year • Knight of the Year is selected from the 12 Knights of the Month. • Knight of the Year award presentation should take place at an open meeting or Mass with families in attendance. • Should be publically presented with a certificate and plaque.

  3. Knight of the Month/Year • Always publish the Knight of the Month and Knight of the Year in your Council Newsletter or Parish Bulletin. • Send all of your Knight of the Month and Knight of the Year forms to the State Council Activities Director, and names to Editor of Michigan Columbian.

  4. How May Councils Use “Casey” the Bear? • Casey can be used in hospitals, police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, nursing homes, at your parish for Baptisms, Council children that are ill, Pregnancy Resource Centers, funeral homes or anywhere comfort is needed.

  5. Casey the Teddy Bear • Knights are always recognized by the 4th Degree in their regalia. • Knights can also be recognized for the comfort Casey the Teddy Bear can bring to someone in need.

  6. Casey the Teddy Bear • To order Casey bears, the order form is on the MI K of C website (Form Number MI-05) • Any size order is acceptable. • Order 36 Bears or more I will come to your event with the Casey Bear Suit
