  1. 4 PredoctoralGrants Callsfor 4 predoctoralappointmentsfundedbythe “La Caixa” Foundation. Grosssalary: Firstyear: 18,546.56 € Secondyear: 19,303.56 € Thirdyear: 20,666.16 € Fourthyear: 22,558.67 € Includesanadditionalendowment of 1,500 € per yearforthefirsttwoyears and 1,700 € forthelasttwoyearstocoverenrollmentfees, books, IT programs, subscriptions, travel expenses orother expenses thatresearchersmayincurarisingfromscientificoracademicactivities.

  2. RequirementsforApplicants Thecallisaimed at eitherSpanishstudentsorthosefromabroadwhoafterOctober 31st 2011 havecompletedtheiruniversitydegreecoursesqualifyingthemforaccesstoHigherEducationorOfficialPostgraduatecourses. Students, researchers and PhDholderswhohavehadanyscientificrelationlasting more thansixconsecutivemonthswiththe ICMAT prior tothedeadlineforsubmissionstothepresentcall are noteligibleforpredoctroalappointments. Allcandidatesmustalreadybeenrolled in, orbe in theprocess of enrolling in a doctoral program. Onlycandidateswhohavenotpreviouslybeenappointedtopredoctoral positions of thistypeforlongerthan a period of fouryears are eligible, exceptforpersons of disability.

Sworndeclarationbycandidatethat he orshe has notpreviouslyheld a grantconvenedunder R.D. 63/2006, fromJanuary 27 orfromanothersimmilargrantfor a periodexceeding 12 months. Applicantswithdisabilitymustinclude a Medical Certificate Documenttestifyingtonationality of theapplicant, shouldthisrequiredforsubmissionstothecall.
