Six Steps Toward Being Ready • AP Core Terms and Concepts  (The Green Sheet): • You've got to know these!  There is no way to get a 4 or a 5 on the exam with out knowing all of these terms and being define them with precision and clarity. • Also if you know all of the terms, comparisons between the AP6 become easier. • Political Institutions & Electoral Systems of each of AP6   • The Cheat Sheets should help you here. • It is critical to know the details of the electoral systems for executives and legislatures for each of the AP6.  How are people elected?  SMDP, PR, all of the elections rules....etc. • Political Legitimacy of each Government: • From where does each country's government derive it's political legitimacy. • Knowing this will inform you of the political culture of each of the AP6. • Recent Elections of Each of the AP6: • Study the most recent elections in each of the AP6.   • Know what happened, who won, who lost, why, any controversy that might have been involved, and what the result might say about the political culture of the place. • Anticipate Comparisons between AP6: • Page 7 of the Cheat Sheets are your source for this. • Remember:  Differences count as comparisons!  Of course, knowing your Core Terms and Concepts will help you enormously with this. • Ethel Wood Rocks! • Reread Ethel Wood's review of each of the AP6
