J Jing Allows you to: Quickly save and share your screen as an: • Imagewhich can be annotated • quicker way of saving an image of your screen than Print Screen or the Snipping Tool because • it automatically copies ready for pasting (Ctrl V) • Video – creates short ‘how to’ tutorials (max five minutes)

  4. J Getting started • Google Jing • Download the free software • A small icon - sun with three rays will appear at a far edge of your desktop • You can click and drag the icon to a different side location • Hover the mouse over the sun icon to expand each ray

  5. J Creating your first capture • Point to the first ray • Select your capturearea

  6. J Image or Video Saving options Capture as image Capture as video Stop video recording

  7. J Saving and sharing an image • Annotate your imageusing the toolbox • Save viaScreenmaster.com(for sharing) • Save to your computer

  8. J Screenmaster.com • If selected your image or video will upload to Screenmaster.com Navigate to where you wish to paste the link (eg wiki) and Paste (Ctrl V) You prefer to create widget

  9. J History • Click on the History ray on the Jing icon

  10. J Jing tutorials • Jing has a bank of helpful, easy to follow tutorials that can be accessed from the Jing Help Centre via the More ray on the Jing icon
