ACTIVE VOICE: The subject of the sentence is doing the action (verb) PASSIVE VOICE: The action (verb) is being done to the subject Directions: RE-WRITE the following sentences. Change them from PASSIVE VOICE into the ACTIVE VOICE: The letter was mailed by Alice. At each concert, at least one song was sung by a soprano. The man was bitten by the dog. It is believed by the politician that we should have safer city parks. The exam was failed by over half of the seniors.
