  2. God Keeps His Promises “Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat” -- Genesis 8:4

  3. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”--Genesis 22:13-14 “And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son… Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns.” God provides for those who sacrifice by faith.

  4. God cares about his people Moses “led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush… and God called to him from the midst of the bush…” (Exodus 3:1-4)

  5. God Cares About His People And the LORD said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver themout of the hand of the Egyptians…” Exodus 3:7-8

If You are Trying to Do what is Right, You are Not Alone So he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.” -- 1 Kings 19:8-10

  8. If You are Trying to Do what is Right, You are Not Alone Then the Lord said to him “Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him." -- 1 Kings 19:18

  9. “…and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" -- Matthew 17:5 “…Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. -- Matthew 17:1-2 Jesus is God’s Glorious Son-- We must listen to Him

  10. Jesus Has All Authority – All men should observe all of His commandments Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them... And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authorityhas been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:16,18-20)

  11. What Can We Learn today On the Mountain of the Lord? Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths…” Isaiah 2:3
