  1. Office Assistant II Fall 2016 position proposal

  2. What we are requesting • After the 2009 60% cut to DSPS funding the funding of this position was changed Previously • 1.0 DRC Currently • .50 DRC • .50 Health Center • We are requesting fund 1 support to replace the portion of funding that is currently provided through student health fees.

The numbers • DRC – 2012-2013 218 students, 2013-2014 252 students, 2014-2015 315 students, 2015-2016365 students and still growing…. • PCC – Fall 2015 75 students, Fall 2016 105 students and still growing… • Cañada Health Center – 2015-2016 928 total appointments. • CSM Health Center – 2015-2016 1343 total appointments. • 1.0 FTE OA II dedicated to the CSM Health Center

  4. How it Strengthens Wellness Center • Cost savings to Health Center Budget would allow the hiring of a dedicated PT Office Assistant. • Ensure continued adherence to ADA, FERPA, HIPPA, Title V • Potential increased DRC revenue. • Strengthens 3 important programs.
