  2. Patients • 10cataract patients 20 eyes • 58.6 yr (48 ~ 72) • 7 M : 4 F • Preop SE + 0.86 +/- 0.46 D (0 ~ +2.00) • Add 2.35 +/- 0.20 D (+2.00 ~ +2.75) • Bilateral cataract extraction • Aspheric ReSTOR in one eye • Tecnis MF in the other eye

Conclusion • ReSTOR and Tecnis MF IOLs both showed good distance and near visual acuity • Contrast sensitivity decreased below normal range in both groups • Night visual symptoms were mild in most cases • Patients prefer ReSTOR for distance vision and Tecnis for near vision • Patient satisfaction was very high in both groups, slightly more in Tecnis • Aspheric design seems to be more ideal for improving satisfaction
