  2. Introduction • Sexual harassment is any unwelcome sexual advance or conduct on the job • Any conduct of a sexual nature that makes an employee uncomfortable • Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act • California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA)

  3. Needs Assessment Methods Organizational Analysis • Mission Statement- JJJ&T is a computer software and hardware company that strives to provide excellent service and support, at a reasonable cost to consumers, in a socially responsible way.

  23. Training Content The Touchy Supervisor • What constitutes sexual harassment? •  “Touchers" are not necessarily harassers.

  24. Training Content Sexual Remarks • Does a woman who takes a job in a traditionally male occupation have to work in a sexually hostile environment? • Still has the right to work in an environment free of sexual harassment

  25. Training Content Inter-Office Dating • “Inter-office dating" is not necessarily sexual harassment • Many organizations do have rules about inter-office dating.

  26. Training Content Women Harassing Men • Can men be sexually harassed? • Any individual who is subjected to unwelcome, sexual conduct because of his or her gender can be harassed

  27. Training Content Lunch with the Boss • Are simple office discussions sexual harassment? • Ask yourself whether you would feel comfortable making these comments • Some employees are especially sensitive and protective about their private lives
