Area of Specialization- Radiologic Technician Radiologic Technician tend to be generalists, but may specialize in certain populations ( Children, elderly, body organ-teeth or Animals)
WORKING ENVIROMENT Most 70 % work in a large hospital, physician and dentist offices, pharmacists. Medical School and University Diagnostic Imaging Centers Usually work 40 hours weeks May work days, evenings, and weekend shifts.
Length of Training Training programs vary from one year to four years, depend on the program and the certification or degree awarded
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION To work in TX- must be licensed with the DSHS Graduated from an accredited education program Pass the DSHS exam Must take CE each year to maintain certification and license
