UniversityFundedTraineeships • Universityfundedtraineeship = financial support for 2 months of practical training • Morethan 100 studentsareselected (bylottery) everyyear • Application period for traineeships in 2014: 9Nov – 10 Dec 2013 • Selectedstudentswillbenotified in December 2013 • Students themselves must find their traineeship placements, which must then be approved by the office of one’s major subject (discipline’s traineeship contact person). • 2 contracts are made: • between the employer and the Faculty • Between the student and the employer • For the students selected, the University will reimburse employees for a set traineeship salary for two months (salary, year 2013: 1134 euros per month) • The funding is tied to the year 2014 and traineeships agreements must be made by 30 April 2014 • Moreinformation and the applicationform to befound in Flamma Faculty of Social Sciences / Elina Tuusa

Speakers include alumni and employer representatives.
