Emergency Emergency! The landfill in Trash Town is overflowing with waste! You have just been hired to investigate how to solve this problem.

6. The Problem Landfills can contain wastes that may be harmful to people, and are usually located near towns. Costs for landfills have increased over the years. Garbage doesn't degrade in a landfill. Some common materials that are not degraded are food waste, paper, glass, metal, plastics packaging or any other non-food material, it will be around for a long time.
