  2. What do you know about WWI? Complete the K part of your KWL chart and list everything you know about World War I.

  3. Create a flip book with 3 flips to display each of the upcoming vocabulary words.1. On the outside write each word and draw a picture of the word.2. On the inside bottom flap write the definition.3. On the top flap create a sentence with your new vocabulary word.

  11. Heir to the Austria-Hungary throne. • Went to Bosnia, the capital of Sarajevo, and was assassinated.

  12. WHY DOES THIS MATTER? Many Serbians thought Bosnia should be a part of Serbia not Austria-Hungary!!! The Austrian government blamed Serbia. WAR WAS DECLARED!!!!!! BIG NEWS!!!!

  13. This would be the first global war. 23 countries fought for the Allied Powers, only 4 fought for the Central Powers.
