Fellowships, Scholarships and Grants Boren: funding for studying foreign languages abroad as an undergraduate Udall: grants for undergraduate students in fields related to the environment Truman Fellowship: grants for graduate study for students pursuing careers in public service Fulbright: grants for independent study projects post graduation or degree programs in over 155 countries Fulbright ETA: opportunities to teach English abroad UK Scholarships: the Marshall, Mitchell, & Rhodes Foundations provide scholarships for graduate study in the UK

New Courses • ITAL 260: Venice and its Treasures • Taught by Dr. Lucamante • MWF 11:10-12:00 • Will be precursor to Spring Break 2013 trip to Italy • Honors MDIA 201 course • UHP students must sign up for Lecture section 02, and discussion section 34 • Students must obtain a permission from Honors or Media Studies Advisor

Making Advising Appointments • Registration begins Monday, March 26 • Students who plan on taking an Honors class next semester MUST make an Honors advising appointment • Advising begin Monday, February 20 • Appointments will be made in the Honors Program office at 112A McMahon Hall, NOT via e-mail • Each advisor will have a paper calendar for sign-ups • Stop by the office, pick the calendar with your available day and time, write your name and major next to the line, and you’re done! • New calendars will be made available each Thursday for the following week
