DOAB (Directory of Open Access Books) Certification Service aims to increase the discoverability of OA books by providing a searchable index of peer-reviewed monographs with links back to the open access publications. It also promotes standards and quality assurance in OA book publishing. Publishers can request certification for their books, which indicates compliance with open licenses and independent peer review procedures. The service is developed within the HIRMEOS project and overseen by the DOAB Scientific Board.
