  3. Comms Vehicle (MEOC) • Region 8 and 10’s identical • 3+ work stations • Satelite and Cellular Voice/Data • VOIP via PSU • Irridium • Tellular for Verizon

  4. MEOC (Cont) • LAN • Wireless system can be secured as appropriate (WEP, user accounts, etc) • Rack Mounted CPU provides: • control of on board systems • Pre-packaged GIS capability (in progress) • Network storage space

  5. Color Laser Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax • cellular service only • Scan to email function (in progress) • Satellite TV Service (in progress) • Includes local channels • 30 foot telescopic mast • VHF, 800 Mhz, Wi-Fi antennas (in progress)

  6. Radio capability • Currently not available • Adding 2 VHF and 1 800 Mhz • If funding allows, a second 800 Mhz and 2 UHF (low and high band) • Portable VHF repeater on board

  7. MEOC (con’t) • Extend service into a structure • Up to 300’ shoreline cord to extend LAN and up to 4 phone lines into a building. • Drop trailers • Rented warehouse space • Hotel Conference Room • Other vehicles
