Definition • Still Life Photography is anything that doesn’t make any sudden movement. • For example: Flowers, cans, pots, etc.
History • In the 1800's the Romans and Greek grouped small tiles to make up a picture. They used to call them Mosaics. These pictures are made up of thousands of small colored tiles like today's pixel images.
Some Steps • There is no right way to take a picture but for some people they: • Set up the piece. • Put a backdrop (if necessary). • Try to get a good angle • Upload the pictures, and try to make new angles.
Techniques • Try different angles all the time • Use a backdrop to make the object have some color. • Have good lighting. (daylight or flash)
People could also be used as Still Life Photography if they don’t do any sudden movement.
The reason why I wanted to become an expert on Still Life Photography was because I love the way you could capture a moment. And also because you really don’t have to leave your home to take pictures.
