  1. Operation: Assassination We need your help to save the President!

  2. Washington 10:32:04 01.09.12 URGENT: The Secret Service has received several reports from the CIA and FBI warning of upcoming attempts on the President’s life. It is unclear whether the would-be assassins are foreign or domestic, or when exactly the attempt will take place.

  3. YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Review the files on past assassinations and assassination attempts on US presidents to look for patterns and commonalities. Write a report listing and explaining these patterns, and advising the Secret Service on how to best defend the President from this threat. Your report should be completed ASAP.

  4. Task Write a report for Chief Reidy in which you: • Give a brief summary of each of the four assassinations covered in the files. • Provide an analysis of the historical evidence, pointing out similarities and differences in the four situations. • Make recommendations to the Secret Service for keeping the current President safe from would-be assassins. • Your report should be typed in Times New Roman size 12 font and double-spaced.
