Description of Shannon Miller • Shannon Miller was born on March 10, 1977 in Rolla , Missouri, Untied States. She is the most decorated gymnast in U.S. History, and considered one of the greatest gymnasts the United States has ever produced. Also Miller was the 1993 and 1994 World All-Around Champion, the 1996 Olympic balance beam gold medalist, the 1995 Pan Am games all-around champion. Shannon has achieved many times.
Important People • The important people in Shannon’s life was her mom and dad because they were the ones who were always there with her. Also they were cheering her and always there at the stands taking pictures!! Also another person who was important was her coach Steve Nunno. He was always teaching her new cool things and also pushing her to her. Also he would practice with her day night. Also Shannon’s teammate Dominique Dawes, Jaycie Phelps, Amy Chow, Dominique Monceanu, Kerri Strug, and Amanda Borden were always telling her how important she was in there team and that she was the best in the team. One more thing is that Shannon’s team had really great sportsmanship!!!!!
What Did You Like best Of All The Things That Happened To This Person? • The thing I liked best is probably how many medals and trophies she has won and all the achievements she did. Also another thing is that I liked how she never gave up and was always strong!!!! One more thing is that I liked how she was so giving and willing to do anything to win!!
Making A Little Effort That Made A Difference ? What Would Happen If The Effort Didn’t Happen? Miller broke her elbow but then she competed in the 1992 Nationals where she defeated Zmeskal. If she didn’t compete then Zmeskal would have WON and take the trophy home!!
Three Things Shannon Accomplished • One thing Shannon Has ACCOMPLISHED is that she WON 2 Gold, 3 Silver,3 Bronze medals. • Another thing is that she 2 silver medals ( in uneven bars) at her first world Championship . • In 1992 she finally defeated Zmeskal.
