Implementation of Curriculum Mapping YEAR 1: • Time within departments and same grade grouping to develop maps • Department Meetings every 3 weeks (2hr) • 08-09 9 minimum day department mtgs. • Time to develop maps together • Diary Maps per teacher of what is being taught • Semester 2: Continue diary mapping, and begin analysis of other diary maps within the departments and across departments
Continued Implementation Year 2: • Horizontal and Vertical Planning within departments • Cross-Curricular Planning • Identification of ESLR’s, EDLR’s, 21st Century Skills, Higher Order Thinking Skills & Assessments • Working toward Publishable Community Maps
