  4. Placement of Steaming Wand • Near the surface  Bubbling noise. Deeper in this zone causes sucking/tearing noise. • Next zone down  Mostly silent. This is the zone to be in for most of the process. • Bottom zone  Occasional roaring noise. To heat the milk after the foaming is done.
