  3. Mountains • Who lives in Mountains? People like sherpas. • What lives in the mountains? Certain animals like Mountain Goats live in the mountains. They can live there because they have certain feet that can walk on mountain sides. • Where are Mountains? Mountains are spread around the world all over different continents. • When does it snow in Mountains? This depends on where the mountains are. If the mountains are near the equator then it wont snow much. • Why are they there? The mountains are there because of the plates of the earth colliding. • How are the mountains formed? The mountains are formed when the earths plates press against each other and force the land upwards creating a mountain.

  5. Rainforests • Who protects it? The government protects most rainforests. • What are rainforests? Rainforests a wide variety of trees and animals put into a hot and humid climate which spreads over hundreds of kilometers • Where are rainforests? Rainforests are everywhere in the world. • When does it rain in a rainforest? It rains almost every day in a rainforest. • Why is a rainforest there? A Rainforest is there because it provides a home to many different animals and plant species. • How was it made? Rainforests were made at the beginning of time. They have been in the world ever since.

  7. Desert • Who lives in deserts? archeologists live in deserts because they are always digging and discovering things buried in the sand. • Where are deserts? Deserts are spread all around the world. There is one on every continent • What lives deserts? Lizards, Camels, Dingoes, Fox’ Scorpions and many more. • When were deserts formed? Deserts were formed at the beginning of time. • Why are certain animals able to live in deserts? Some animals are able to live in deserts because they have certain skin that can survive the extreme heat. • How are deserts formed? Some deserts are formed by mountains that block the path of the rain clouds so it doesn’t rain then it becomes a desert.
