  2. Agenda Item 6: ARDEX-08 • The exercise was intended to provide further guidance and lessons for the operationalization of the ASEAN Standby Arrangements and Standard Operating Procedures (SASOP) under the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER).

  3. Agenda Item 6: ARDEX-08 • ARDEX-08 focused on the coordination of the regional disaster rescue and relief operation • exercises are useful to test the readiness of disaster management systems.
