Planting • Planting is done in done mainly in nature reserves Grande Montagne and AnseQuitor, but also in schools, villages (community forest) • Plants are carried in the specific space, left on the spot and planted the next morning depending on rain, no watering is done in the field. Good planning is very important.

  4. Problems encountered • Unfavourable weather conditions after planting. Plantation rely on rain. Hardening helps a lot in this case • Animals grazing on native plants planted at AnseQuitor • Some pests attack some specific species snails on obetia • Weeds like cuscuta cause lots of problems
