Community Outreach Events: • October 22nd there was a Sending Forth Blessing & Prayer Service for Father Joseph Monahan, Jenifer Harris, & Barbara Huntsman who traveled to Peru with Global Health Ministries • Dr. Davis was asked to speak about Cardio-Thoracic Surgery to retired union members • Dr. McDonough did a presentation on H1N1 at a local law firm & for the New Castle County Offices • Several members of the St. Francis staff participated at the Women’s Business Expo
Community Outreach Events: • Elaine Abbott, RN presented her book on H1N1 to local HeadStart school • December-Blessing & Prayer Service for baskets of food for families in the community • Nursing Department for OB-GYN & The Center of Hope: Assisted families that were desperately in need of new clothing, toys, and food
Physician Recruitment Efforts: Recruitment of Dr. Katie Sahm Breast & General Surgeon-Start date April 1, 2010 Dr. Vivacqua & Dr. Tubb Hematology & Oncology-Began practicing on Jan 6, 2010 Negotiations are on-going with various other practices
