Defining & Understanding Behavior Most of us know "A-B-C" (Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence). Despite the order, the behavior (B) is always our starting point. Antecedent / Trigger When ___ happens... Behavior the student does (what) Consequence/Outcome because (why) ___.
