  1. Study Leave Starts Monday May 16th Ends Tuesday June 7th

  2. Exam timetable • Check yours especially whether you have a morning or afternoon exam • Written exams start at 8.45 and 1.45 • Be there 10 minutes beforehand • Remember Black pens, pencil, highlighter, calculator, water and any other essential equipment.

  3. If you are ill during the exams • Please contact the post 16 office first thing in the morning • You will need a GP note for us to send to the exam board

  4. A2 arrangements • A2 lessons start on Wednesday June 8th • You are expected to continue with all your As subjects until the results in August • A2 subjects which are combining to be taught at Redland from June 8th are DT and Health& Social care.

  5. Future 18 Days- Wed June 29th, Thursday 30th and Friday July 1st. • Wed June 29th – higher education day • Thursday June 30th – alternatives to a university application/gap years / employment – Bristol University Open day ( if you want to attend you need to register online) • Friday July 1st – Birmingham University open day – 50 places only • Letter home shortly

  6. August 18th Results Day • AS results will be given out from 1PM. • If you cannot collect your results yourself, either provide a stamped addressed envelope to the post 16 office or provide a written request for a relative to pick them up. • We will not give results by phone or email.

  7. Start of new academic year 2011 • Term starts Thursday September 1st. • Full details of enrolment and start of lessons will be shared with you shortly.

  8. AS Extended project • If you are considering the possibility of completing an AS extended project over the summer term and holidays, please attend the introductory session period 1 Friday June 10th with Mrs. Morris in G003.
