NJIT-licensed Software • Where is it available? • IST Website for download • Public PC labs for classroom and project use • Departmental labs for classroom and project use • Example: Architecture SW is only available in the CoAD building • What is available? • Various software packages for different platforms (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux)

Software for Download • IST provides and maintains access to an extensive list of NJIT-licensed software. • If downloading software while off-campus, you must use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. • http://ist.njit.edu/software/download.php • Now available! Windows 7 and Office 2010

Software request for PC Labs • How? • Submit completed form to Academic Computing Services • Deadlines? • Fall - July 1 • Spring - November 18 • Summer - April 1 • Licensing? • Professor and/or Department are responsible for contacting vendor and getting written approval for lab installations
Things to remember… • Do NOT share any software with Students or non-NJIT people • IST Support • We do NOT support any software that we do not make available • Limited support on available titles (licensing, installations, tutorials) • Due to annual budget limitations, some software licensing may not be renewed if appropriate. • Due to licensing agreements, some software is only available in labs or for on-campus use and is not available for download
