7. Over the past couple of years we have benefitted from a resurgence of interested individuals who have been thrusting the NGANH into areas we only dreamt of. We met in January to discuss what we wanted to accomplish this year and felt that we could do a lot – but did it fit into the mission of the NHANH? We quickly found that we needed to take a step back and begin with the question “Why”. We did and came up with the following mission statement. Now let’s tie that in to what we are doing.

8. Prez reads each of the upcoming 3 portions of the mission statement then respective speaker stands up and makes presentation. Every speaker tries to keep it less formal and blend more of a visionary approach with what we have done and want to do. This will make it both meaningful and solidify the mission statement.
