  2. FACTS • The Eureka Tower was opened on the 11th of October 2006 taking 4 years and two months to make. • To make the Eureka Tower it cost about $500 000 000 to build.

  3. The Eureka Tower is 297.3 metres above sea level. • The lift inside the Tower travels at 9 metres per second.

  4. The glass on the top 11 stories isinfused with 24 carat gold. • The building weighs 200,000 tons and has 3680 stairs.

  5. The Edge is a glass box that moves out 3 metres from the building. it is the only glass box of it’s kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

  6. The architect of the building was Fender Katsalidis and the contractor name was Grocon. The Eureka skytower is not just used for observation it is also a apartment building
