Robin Hood is a fairy tale that I haven't seen before. I have heard of it for many years but I don't have chance to read it until this year. Even though Robin Hood is an old story, it still gives me a surprise and fresh feeling. Also, I have fumbled something from the book.

    1. Title of the book: Robin Hood   Author: Stockton, S.M.   Publisher: BLACK CAT PUBLISHING   Student: Yu Tak May 3D (40)

    2. Robin Hood is a fairy tale that I haven’t seen before. I have heard of it for many years but I don’t have chance to read it until this year. Even though Robin Hood is an old story, it still gives me a surprise and fresh feeling. Also, I have fumbled something from the book.   Robin Hood knew that his brother John became the king and he was arrogant and brutal, so he escaped to Sherwood Forest. Actually, Robin Hood could live with his brother and he became rich and powerful. Do you know why he couldn't do that? It was because Robin Hood was righteous. He didn't’t want to support this cruel king. If you were Robin Hood, would you live with King John or be the same as Robin Hood? I would like to choose latter way because a cruel king must be overthrown by citizen. So why not leaving the king?   Also, I learnt that we should make more friends in our life. Robin Hood hid in the Sherwood Forest. John wanted to root him out, so he ordered soldiers to kill Robin Hood. However, Robin Hood learnt lots of friends in the forest and they all had different skills. Finally, John was not successful and Robin Hood became stronger. So when we are facing problems or difficulties, our friends can help us to solve the problems.   Robin Hood is my favourite character in the book. He was nice, kind, obedient and good at archery. First of all, Robin Hood was kind to everyone. He never did the thing same as King John when he was a leader. Moreover, after King Richard rose up, Robin Hood was obedient and followed the orders because he recognized that King Richard was a democratic leader. After King Richard became the king, Robin Hood was employed by Richard and he was powerful. Being Robin Hood, he can meet friends, play and have free time so he is really my favourite.

    3. Learning knowledge form the book is important,. Reading an exciting and attractive plot is also important. The most impressive part in the book was that Robin Hood took part in the archery competition. King John knew that his brother Robin liked archery so he set up an archery competition to attract him. Robin Hood really took part in it, I worried about him very much at that time, lots of questions appeared in my brain. For example, will he be caught by John? What was he thinking ……Ha! The archery competition not only attracted Robin Hood, but also attracted me. So I was earnest to read the whole chapter immediately. Originally, Robin Hood won the competition and his friends or men went with him for protecting. Sheriff’s guards (King John’s force) was also killed and injured by them.   Although the story is simple and easy to understand, I think it is meaningful. It brings me something new and let me know a little history of Britain. If you are interested in it, read it or you will lose it.
