STOP…LOOK…LISTEN • Luke 15:1 • Why do you think tax collectors and sinners stayed close to Jesus? • How did Jesus influence people who stayed near him? • Give an example of the influence someone else has had on you. • Give an example of a way you have influenced another person. • “If you are given a chance to be a role model, I think you should always take it because you can influence a person's life in a positive light, and that's what I want to do. That's what it's all about.” (Tiger Woods)
STOP…LOOK…LISTEN • Making a difference (Matt. 5:13-16) • What jobs does Jesus give His people to do? • How does salt make a difference? • How does light make a difference? • How can we make a difference as followers of Jesus? • Where are we to make a difference? • Are you making a difference? • Evaluate your behavior: attitudes, language, dress, obedience, respect…does your behavior influence other people? • What kind of influence are you having on others? • List some changes you need to make to have better influence. • Choose one behavior to work on during the next week. Write it down and what you plan to do about it.
