Jeremiah 9: 23-24 This is what the Lord says, Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, Or the powerful boast in their power, Or the rich boast in their riches v. 24 but those who wish to boast Should boast in this alone, That they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord Who demonstrates unfailing love And who brings justice and righteousness to the Earth And that I delight in these things, I the Lord have spoken

  3. Who can enter the promised land? John 1: 12 To all who believe Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God

  4. Who are qualified to enter the promised land? John 3: 3 Unless a man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of God

  5. A. To truly Know and understand God… • How? • Continually meditate the word day and night. • Joshua 1:8 • Study this Book of instruction continually, meditate on it • day and night • 2. Obey what you learn and throw off your old sinful life • Ephesians 4: 21-22 • Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth • That comes from Him throw off your old sinful nature and • your former way of life which is corrupted by lust and deception

  6. 3. Let the Holy Spirit Renew your thoughts and attitude Eph. 4:23 Let the Spirit renew Your thoughts and attitude

  7. 4. Put on your new nature to live in righteousness and holiness Ephesians 4: 24 Put on your new nature created to be like God truly righteous and holy. 2 Corinthians 5: 17 Anyone who belongs in Christ has become a new person the old life is gone and the new life has begun.

  8. B. Live as children of light Ephesians 5: 1-20

  9. C. Be strong and courageous with consistent faith Joshua 1: 9 This is my command, Be strong and courageous Do not be afraid Or discouraged For the Lord your God is with you Wherever you go

  10. Conclusion Phil. 3: 13 b- Focus on this, forgetting the past And look forward to what lies Ahead.

  11. 1 Timothy 1: 5 Be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience and genuine faith

  12. James 2: 17 Faith without deeds is good as dead.

  13. Luke 13: 24 Work hard To enter The narrow door To God’s Kingdom

  14. 2 Corinthians 5: 19-20 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself No longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconcilation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors God is making His appeal Through us. We speak for Christ when we plead COME BACK TO GOD.
