Work Group are team members from whom the survey results are taken, They are the CATALYST Roles: They participate in the NGT method of decision making. They suggest the solutions They Rank the solutions
Manager introduces the group to this technique. And what would happen to the solutions. Facilitator takes down the 5 main objectives on the board
Team is given A4 sheets to write down one solution or solutions of their choice. Stick to the time frame
Team is given 30 minutes to discuss (Group Discussion) their solution and what they mean by it. Facilitator to merge similar solutions into one group And number them as 1, 2, 3 etc
Team is given 30 minutes to Rank the solutions. Example 1st solution 5th Rank 2nd solution 6th Rank 3rd Solution 1st Rank Each member of work group to rank the solutions that are listed on the board.
Facilitator is given 10 minutes to collate the ranks Example For 1st Solution total every ones Ranks For 2nd solution total every ones Rank and so on. Verdict – Manager announces the two solutions that have got lowest scores
