Friendship Song By Levi Meldrum
Lean On Me by Bill Withers 1 Sometime in our lives we all have painWe all have sorrowBut if we are wise we know that there'sAlways tomorrow
2 Lean on me when you're not strong andI'll be your friendI'll help you carry onFor it won't be long till I'm gonna needSomebody to lean on
3 Please swallow your pride if I have thingsYou need to borrowFor no one can fill those of your needsthat you won't let show
4 Just call on me brother when you need a handWe all need somebody to lean onI just might have a problem that you'd understandWe all need somebody to lean on
5 Lean on me when you're not strongAnd I'll be your friendI'll help you carry onFor it won't be long till I'm gonna needSomebody to lean on
6 Just call on me brother when you need a handWe all need somebody to lean onI just might have a problem that you'd understandWe all need somebody to lean on
7 If there is a load you have to bearThat you can't carryI'm right up the road, I'll share your loadif you just call me
8 Call me (if you need a friend)Call me (Call me)Call me (if you need a friend)Call me (if you ever need a friend)Call me (Call me)Call me Call me (if you need a friend)

10 if you need a friend (Call me)Call me(Call me)Call me(Call me)Call me(Call me)Call me(Call me)
Description The pictures in slide 1 show an African boy and a calendar. The African boy represents the first couple of lines which are “Sometimes in our lives we all have pain we all have sorrow” The reason I chose this picture is because there a lot of people in Africa who experience pain and sorrow their whole lives. The reason why I chose the picture of the calendar is because in the song it says “But if we are wize we know there is always tomorrow” The calendar represents today thus showing tomorrow.
… In slide 2 the picture shows these two boys are clearly friends. I chose this picture because they look like they are really good friends and would always help each other out. In slide 3 it says “Please swallow your pride if I have things You need to borrow For no one can fill those of your needs that you won't let show” I used the “no pride” to represent “swallow your pride”
… In slide 4 the reason I chose that picture is because it says “call me when you need a friend” that is why I chose the picture of the guy on his cell phone he was possibly calling a friend. In slide 5 it says “lean on me when you’re not strong” I chose this picture because generally older people aren’t as strong as when they were young.
… • In slide 6 it says “I just might have a problem that you’d understand” the reason I chose the picture with the math problem was because different people look at things differently and thus some ways are easier and make more sense to them. • In slide 7 it says “if there’s a load you need to bear that you can’t carry I’ll share your load” the picture shows a person struggling to keep the weight above their head which represent the load.
… • In slide 8 it says “call me if you need a friend” these two boys who are evidently best friends they are talking on phones. • In slide 9 it says “call me” some really close friends may keep walkie talkie’s to talk. • In slide 10 it keeps on saying “call me the little bubble around it represents people talking
Conclusion • As you can now see this is a great friendship song because it describes a true friend who is always there.
The end • Thanks for watching!!!
