Lizardmen Turn 1 Lizardmen secure the pond with another skink unit and salamanders. All other units march forward on the left and right.
Lizardmen Turn 1 Chameleon skinks kill 6 archers with poison blow pipes Archers fail their panic test on double 6’s. Yeah. They were scared. Fleeing archers cause panic in my peg knights. I forgot the rule that knights ignore panic from peasants. On Bret turn one, peg knights fail to rally and run off the board. Disaster!!! Archers rally and laugh at them
Bretonnian Turn 1 Questing knights charge Chameleon skinks. 3 knights die to stand and shoot reaction and dangerous terrain. The pond was well positioned for the chameleon skinks, who easily earned their points back. Everything else moves forward.
Bretonnian Turn 1 Peseants charge and kill the 3 terradons in the center. Knights of the realm with BSB charge the rightmost salamander who flees
Bretonnian Turn 1 Questing knights kill chameleon skinks, two more knights die to dangerous terrain on the overrun. Shooting and magic did nothing the whole game for either player.
Lizardmen Turn 2 A Salamander sneaks behind the bret lines. Skinks move up to create more distance on the inevitable knight overrun.
Lizardmen Turn 2 Reform Saurus warriors with spears reform for a hopeful flank on the knights of the realm. Kroxigor and skink unit charges knights of the realm who hold. Terradons fly over peasant bowmen and drop rocks on their heads
Lizardmen Turn 2 On the left, shooting wounds a peg knight, kills a grail, and kills 3 peasants. The questing knights kill the skinks in close combat and overrun into the salamander in the pond On the right, the knights of the realm lose 4 in close combat but hold due to crown of command on the BSB.
Bretonnian Turn 2 Pegasus knights move up on left flank. Grail knights and Knights errant dual charge the skink line Peasants charge the skink line on the right.
Bretonnian Turn 2 Bretonnian general charges the engine of the god + skink priest and riders. The general gloriously lands a heroic killing blow on the stegadon, and the priest + riders run off the table the following turn. AwwwwwwYeaaaaaaa.
Bretonnian Turn 2 The skinks pick on an innocent woman and slap her silly. Peseants win combat and overrun into the flank of the saurus. On the left, the knights errant overrun into the saurus block while the grails reform. Peg knights rear charge the skink and kroxigor unit on the right and deal many wounds, but cannot break steadfast. The stubborn knights hold.

Lizardmen turn 3 The questing knights finally drown in the pond after a charge from the skinks and kroxigors The lizardmencarnisaur general takes the flank of the knights errant who get decimated. The peasants continue to grind it out on the right.
Lizardmen turn 3 Terradons charge a trebuchet in the rear of the bretonnian line. A peasant crewmen manages to embarrass one, but is soon run down himself. 3 more knights die on the right, but the stubborn paladin BSB continues to make armor saves and leadership tests. The peg knights who were in the rear break and get run down by a salamander.
Bretonnian Turn 3 Grail knights charge, and the lizardmen general fails his break test. The grails roll terribly and fail to run him down. Both sides on the right continue to trade blows, but neither break.
Lizardmen Turn 4 The skink/kroxigor and saurus units reform to face my grail knights. A lone salamander makes a long charge to the rear of my grail knights and RUINS EVERYTHING! My grail knights whiff their attacks and prophetess does no damage while swinging her purse. And the worst part,they lose combat and fail their break test on a ld 9. Disaster. On the right, both units grind it out and hold AGAIN! The lizards are thoroughly embarrassed by this and vow revenge
Bretonnian Turn 4 The bretonnian general Charges the lizardmen general in the hopes of another glorious killing Blow…. …And he rolls three 1’s and a 2 to hit. Yeah…
Bretonnian Turn 4 I hate you!!! The grail knights rally, and peg knights charge the remaining salamander. They put one wound on him and fail while he kills one of them. They win combat but he passes his break test. Shit. The peseants finally break and get run down on by the saurus unit, but my two remaining knights win combat and the skink/krox unit fails its steadfast break test. Amazing
Result: DRAW Key Events -Despite a terrible start for the bretonnians, they managed to fight to a draw after the points were added up. The pegasus knights running off the table early was a 165 point drop without an opportunity to earn them back. Shooting and magic failed for both sides. Neither the trebuchets, bowmen, or salamanders were able to kill a significant amount of units. -On the right, both sides held strong but neither was able to take full advantage of flank charges from supporting units to win those combats. In the end the peasants and krox/skink unit were lost – which kind of evened out. -On the left, the pond was perfectly positioned for the lizardmens aquatic skinks. This forced a charge into dangerous terrain which made life difficult for the questing knights, who still managed to kill 3 small units. -The pegasus knights and terradon riders both contributed a few points, but didn’t do anything game changing -The heroic killing blow of the bretonnian general on the lizard engine of the gods allowed them to stay in the game -The lone salamander charge at the end broke the grail knights when they rolled an 11 for their leadership test at leadership 9. This was devestating and prevented them from double charging the lizardmen general along with the bretonnian general. This would have almost certainly resulted in the death of the lizard general. -The Bretonnian general rolled poorly in his last effort against the lizard general. The lizard general took full advantage and smacked him silly -Overall it was a very fun and entertaining game
