  2. 6abc Action News has been Philadelphia's #1 news source for more than three decades, and a large part of that success is attributed to Rob Jennings. He will complete his storied career and retire at the end of July. For more than 36 years, Jennings has been a consistent presence on Action News, anchoring the weekend newscasts. Jennings has made a lasting impression on the Philadelphia news business. Jennings offered these thoughts about his retirement: "I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am to have been able to do what I love to do, tell stories, for 36 years, with the greatest television station. My wife and I have been planning to retire for some time now. And now is the time to start our new adventure together."

No survivors or bodies have been found in Moore since Monday, the day a mammoth tornado ripped through 17 miles of central Oklahoma and pummeled 2,400 homes. The mayor of Moore says he does not expect death toll to rise beyond 24. Sticking to a Mediterranean diet may not just be good for your heart, it may be good for your brain as well, according to a new study. Researchers in Spain followed more than 1,000 people for six and a half years, and found that participants who were on a Mediterranean diet and supplemented that diet with extra nuts or olive oil performed better on cognitive tests at the end of the study period than the control group, which followed a lower-fat diet.
