OCLC BISAC Initiatives • OCLC researchers and Dewey editors are collaborating on a project to create authority records for BISAC subject headings and add Dewey numbers to the records • BISAC subject headings, including usage notes, are coded according to the MARC 21 format for authority data • Dewey numbers from DDC 23, the latest edition of Dewey, are applied to the records by the Dewey team
