EXPORT CITRUS FARMING • Ensure that the location is correct; export quality citrus requires very specific conditions • Decide which markets and ensure that you can meet specifications • Check profitability – do careful budgeting taking into account all scenario’s • Choose service providers carefully – especially transporter, warehousing, export agent, importer • Use quality material and inputs • Be wired into the industry
