What are Traineeships? Traineeships are made up of three core elements: • A high quality work experience placement to give the young person meaningful work experience and to develop workplace skills. • A focused period of work preparation training, covering areas like CV writing, interview preparation, job search and inter-personal skills. • English and maths, as these are seen as crucial employability skills. • Traineeships from Pearson • Education to Employment Conference
Traineeships Definitions for Success Outcomes • A 20% achievement payment for the single work experience and work preparation rate is based on the learner progressing to one of the successful outcomes, rather than the achievement of a qualification.
