General Fund Expenditures The City anticipates that about $365,000 will be required to fund staffing and operational expenses associated with one-half year of personnel for Fire Station No. 5 (12 new personnel staffing the station 24/7). Current estimates suggest that about $393,000 in additional property taxes (a little less than one mill) will be necessary to fund both staffing and operations for this new fire station for half of 2012.
