  1. Troop 387 October Campout Do you like to shoot rifles and shotguns? Do you like a little friendly competition against other scouts? Do you think you could be a Top Shot? Well in October, you’ll get your chance to do these things. On October 18ththrough October 20st, Troop 387 will travel to the Chillicothe area and camp and shoot at the ever exciting Chief Logan Reservation! Cost is $22 to $31 which covers food, ammo and gas. Permission slips due October 2nd to Mrs. Hopper. We will not be working on the Rifle or Shotgun Merit Badges during this outing, but if you only need to qualify for the badge, please talk to Mr. Sims. All competition shooting must be completed using the provided firearms. No Scout may bring a personal firearm or ammunition to this event. All ammunition will be provided by Troop 387. For this outing: Range Safety Officer (RSO) - Mr. Sims, Rifle/Shotgun Instructor – Mr. Blessing and Rifle Instructor – Mr. Rease
