  2. ENERGY To save electricity we must remember to • Switch off lights • Turn off computers • Turn off projectors

  3. WASTE To reduce waste we must recycle. We will recycle food waste by • Putting our fruit waste into food bins • Only paper waste to be put into playground bins • Compost vegetable peelings from the school kitchen

  4. LITTER • We need a school litter policy • We are going to ask Mr Bussy to buy new litter pickers • We will have weekly litter patrols • We need to take our fruit and food wrappers home • There will be posters around the school to remind you

  5. SCHOOL GROUNDS We will improve the school grounds for wildlife by • Making a log pile with Mr Thomas • Making a stone pile • Having more bird feeders • Creating a meadow for wild flowers and butterflies • Improving the pond so more creatures use it

  6. SCHOOL GROUNDS We will keep growing different foods with Mr Coley’s help. • Grow more ‘pick,wash,eat’ food like salads • Give Mr Coley ideas about what we would like to grow
