  1. K. S. CHANDRASEKHARAN BIRTHDAY- 21NOV Komaravolu Chandrasekharan was born on 21 November, 1920. He was one of the most famous scientist of India. And one of the most famous Mathematicians of all time.He died on 13 April, 2017. His most renowned work includes Summability and Number Theory. He was born in Machilipatnam, Andra Pradesh. His father was a school Headmaster, Sri Rajaiah Padmakshamma. He got his Primary education from District Board School in Guntur District. After which he got his high school education from Bapatla, in Guntur District. Then he Pursued M.A in Mathematics from Presidency College,Madras. He also worked part-time as a Lecturer in his college. He also did his PhD from the university of madras in 1942, on Mathematics under the supervision of Ananda Rao . He was also a Research scholar during 1940-1943, at university of madras. After which he went to Princeton univeristy, USA for furtherstudies. While he was in princeton, he was invited by Scientist Homi Baba to join School of Mathematics by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research(TIFR).He tried his best to make TIFR , school of excellence . which is now recognized world wide.
