Final Remarks: Atmospheric sustainability at local, regional and global scales represents perhaps the most daunting challenge that Europe (and the World) has ever faced. The atmospheric sustainability problems of the 21st century, all require, as one critical component of their solution, usable scientific knowledge. Very major advances have been made in the scientific understanding of the atmospheric system. Knowledge transfer and development of tools have been regarded as an essential task, throughout EUROTRAC-2. Need for a two-way exchange of information between policy makers, regulatory agency, and research scientists EUROTRAC-2 Final Event March 18/19, 2003, Berlin
