9. SOME VICTORIOUS SCENES [2010 – 11] • The HINDU’S CATALYST National Level Science Quiz – WINNERS (St. Patrick team comprising of P.Sweatha and G. Narendhar) • The big highlight of the year – victory in VIJAY TV’s Little Genius Quiz by St. Patrick team – G.Narendhar, P.Swetha, K.Srinivas, N. Krithika, R. Archana. • Pinnacle-2010 Rolling Trophy for Runners-up Second Consecutive year to Petit Seminaire. The Winners were also from The SIOL, St. Patrick, for the 3rd consecutive year. • Another big highlight Winners for the JKS Networks Quiz – Petit Semainaire HSS Team of R. Avinaash, R. Gautam, M.Saravanan & R. Gurudharshane. We also got 2nd , 3rd, 5th & 6thplacess in this quiz.

10. Charges for the “ TINY DROPS” Curriculum • The benefits of the “ Tiny Drops” are available for the students at a down to earth price of 20/- per month of the year for a student, which amounts to just Rs. 240/- per student for the entire year. \

11. Mode of Payment for the “TINY DROPS” Curriculum 1. Payment for the full year at the beginning of the year (June) 2. Payment for each term at the beginning of each term ( June ; September ; December ; March ) The payments must be made only by crossed bank cheques or Demand Drafts payable at Puducherry.

12. The Quizmaster • S. Muthukumaran has completed over 25 years of conducting quizzes. • He started off as a quiz master even before he had participated in any quizzes. It was in 1985 that he first conducted a quiz competition, when he was a student of 9th std. • The SIOL was his brainchild and was started soon after he started conducting quizzes. • The motto and the name (The Sky Is Our Limit, abbreviated to the SIOL) were formulated by him in 1988. • He was in charge of St. Xavier’s College Quiz Club in Palayamkottai for 3 years (1988-91) • He has organized innumerable inter-school and inter-college quizzes in Pondicherrry from 1991 onwards. • A double post graduate (Chemistry & Sociology, with a keen interest in Psycho-analysis & Computers), he is a keen follower of Cricket & Latest in Science and Technology. • He started the Holidya Questionnaire in 1991 and it has been conducted without a break since then. This is the 21st year of Holiday Questionnaire • In 2009, he became the first quiz master to conduct a quiz non-stop for 24 hours ( The Toyota NDTV Generation Quiz) • His students have won innumerable prizes in state level and national level quiz competitions including Chutti Quiz Wiz, Vijay TV Little Genius, The Hindu Catalyst. The Hindu Young World (State & National Level), Bournvita Quiz (All Asia Level), Toyota NDTV Greenathon, Time Aqua Regia and so on…
