John XXIII Multi Cultural Community Center • Site Information: • ESL, Citizenship Tutoring • Group of 4 (1:2 tutors to 4 seniors) • Requirement: Completion of John XXIII Program Packet, Fingerprinting, TB Test, Receipt of Handbook, Medical/Emergency Contact Information, Confidentiality Form • Seniors – Both Chinese and Vietnamese learners • Wear SJSU Tower Card badge • Sign in process (Receptionist and 2nd Level SHINE Binder) • Complete Tutor Agreement Form • Tutoring Schedule • Monday through Friday • 9:30 – 11:30am • 1:00 – 3:00pm

Casa Del Pueblo • Site Information: • Complete Tutor Agreement • Tutoring Set-Up: In learner’s room, library, or computer room (depending on request/style of learner) • Tutoring Schedule: • Varies upon learner’s and tutor’s schedule • Types of Learner: • Computers (Apple, PC); Photoshop, Email, Basic Functions • ESL and Citizenship

Town Park Towers Site information: • Complete Tutoring Agreement • 1:1 Tutoring Set-Up; Library, or computer room (depending on • request/style of learner) • Prefer bi-lingual tutor Residents: • Limited English – Mandarin/Cantonese preferred Tutoring Schedule: • Monday through Friday • Anytime to scheduled times (depends upon learner’s availability/preference) • Some parking is available upon request. Prefer that tutor walk to facility

Villa de Guadalupe Site Information: • Complete Tutoring Agreement • Group setting 2-3 tutors assigned to site at one time. • 10-16 ESL/Comprehension Learners • Travel time: 12 minutes • Curb Parking is available Schedule of Tutoring Sessions: • Mondays, 3-5pm • Fridays, 10am-12pm • Saturdays, 10am-12pm
