Big Changes • HB 5: 5 End-of-Course Exams • English I • English II • Biology • US History • Algebra I • Locks in Phase 1 standard for all EOC exams for students that have taken an EOC • Possibility of fewer tests for grades 3-8 • Another year of phase 1 (not a free year, a work harder year) • Last year for STAAR M • STAAR Alt. = TEA will create tasks • Released Tests
